BeauFort Spirit

When we started the brand, we did a lot of research into finding the perfect distillery for our very first spirit, BeauFort VS Gin. It was important to us to be close to where we’re based and to support a small business if possible.

BeauFort is a brand that is deeply inspired by English history, so when we found Langley Distillery in The Black Country it felt like a match made in boozy heaven. We are of course fellow Brummies at heart and currently reside about an hour away from the site in Oldbury.

Gin has been distilled here since 1920 and they use stills that are some of the oldest working copper gin stills in the UK, some of them dating back to the early 1800’s.

Together, we worked on a bespoke (and highly secretive!) recipe to produce their first ever smoked overproof gin using local English botanicals.
