It all began with a beehive. The first time I opened it, the bees buzzing, it was a moment I won't forget. It truly changed things for me. Later, after my bipolar diagnosis, I felt adrift. I had just moved back to England from Vancouver and needed something to ground me. Beekeeping did that. Giving up alcohol? That was tough. I loved brewing. But it led me to something new. I started making different soft drinks.

At the time, there weren't many good choices if you didn't drink. Just the usual sodas, kombuchas, hit and miss No Lo Beers. I wanted something better, something I would want to enjoy with friends on nights out. That's when I made my first cold-brewed sparkling tea. I used honey from my bees. It was different, healthy, and people liked it. So, I kept going. I played around with teas, found the right mix. I worked to get the honey flavour just right. And that's how Black Bear Honey Co. sparkling cold brew tea was born.

My unique sparkling cold-brewed green tea is made with pure British honey. It's all natural, non-alcoholic, no sweeteners, and gluten-free. I also make Apple & Chamomile and Pear & Elderflower versions, using NFC fruit juices and botanicals for a special, complex taste.
